KAZA TFCA Secretariat and the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF), have developed a pilot plan for providing water infrastructure and auxiliary livelihood development initiatives as an incentive for the local communities to adjust their seasonal movements and allow free transboundary movement of wildlife.

Communities in the Chiefdoms of Senior Chief Inyambo Yeta and Chief Sekute in Zambia, which have set aside 280, 000 ha for a community wildlife conservancy, on 24th of September 2014, through financial support from Peace Parks Foundation, received fifty (50) Zebras as seed stock animals for Simalaha community wildlife conservancy.

The government of Botswana has handed over the site to a contractor who has been engaged to undertake the construction of Six (6) low cost housing in Pandamatenga wildlife camp in the KAZA TFCA component of Botswana.
